Support for service users from the clinic

We employ three peer support workers who have lived experience of being service users at our clinic and other gender clinics. Helen (she/her), Sam (they/them) and Luc (they/them) can provide person-centred, emotional support whilst you wait for your first appointment with us.

Support for service users and their family and partners - external to the clinic

There are a range of trans and non-binary, and wider LGBTQ+ inclusive groups and organisations that can provide a range of support and information for service users.

There is also support and information available locally and nationally, for the family, partners and friends of trans people.

The Porterbrook clinic does not provide support to family, friends or partners.

All the following organisations are external to our clinic and SHSC. The clinic and SHSC are not responsible for any content produced by these organisations, any information shared by these organisations or any support provided by these organisations.
