Mental health support for people in Sheffield under the age of 18 is provided by our colleagues at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust.
We're really lucky in Sheffield to be one of only a handful of cities to have a specialist Trust dedicated to supporting children.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, which you may hear referred to as CAMHS, treats children and young people with a range of difficulties that are seriously impacting on their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
The team recently teamed up with Sheffield Futures and Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group to launch a new wellbeing support line for people aged 12 to 18 in the city who are struggling with things like exam stress, worries about Coronavirus, relationships and bullying.
The support line is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 9pm. To speak to one of their health and wellbeing practitioners call 0808 275 8892.
