ADHD focused support

  • Nice guidelines for ADHD - information for the UK public about the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD
  • ADDISS - The National Attention Deficit Disorder Information and Support Service. Provides information about support to people with ADHD and those who wish to understand them and support them (such as parents, carers and teachers)
  • ADHD NHS Treatment Information - information about treatment that the NHS can provide such as psychotherapy and medication
  • Child and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) - goals, support, and education about ADHD, including support networks
  • Mind - information and support about ADHD from Mind, a British mental health charity
  • Adult Autism and ADHD Support Hub - offers free support to autistic people and people with ADHD (and to people who are waiting for a diagnostic assessment for autism or ADHD), and their (informal) carers and families. This is a non-clinical service for people aged 16 and above and living in Sheffield. The Hub can provide practical advice and information, on topics such as: confidence building; peer support; your wellbeing.   • Have your say – ADHD Provision in Sheffield engagement: Services in Sheffield want to understand people’s experiences of getting ADHD support, both whilst waiting for an assessment and after diagnosis (whether that is a formal diagnosis or self-diagnosis). To do this, they want to hear from people with ADHD of all ages about what kind of support already exists, how good it is, and what kind of support you wish was available.
