The Royal College of Nursing confirmed to us that it has asked members at our Trust to strike from 8pm on Sunday 30 April to 11.59pm on Monday 1 May 2023.
Our nurses and all our staff are working together to keep giving care to our service users and make sure they are safe.
Nurses from our organisation will be striking, but our services are still running.
Regardless of any strike action taking place, if you need urgent medical care please continue to come forward as normal, especially in an emergency or in life-threatening cases. If you need medical help or advice, go to NHS 111 online unless it is a life-threatening emergency when you should still call 999.
The NHS remains open. At Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust, we are open for business too. If you are in a mental health crisis, please make sure you get the help you need.
If you have an appointment with us, we are asking you to still attend unless we have contacted you to rearrange it.
