We are getting ready to begin our flu vaccination programme in October, where we will provide vaccinations for everyone who works at the Trust.

We know from a survey we carried out over the Summer that the majority of people at SHSC, over 82%, are planning on getting a flu jab this year, with many others considering it. We are committed to making sure getting a flu vaccination is quick and convenient for all members of staff.

Right now are training over 50 flu vaccinators who will provide the flu jab to the people they work with. We are also running at least nine flu vaccination clinics every week from October. These will take place at different sites across Sheffield and will take place every day including weekends.

The flu vaccination is free for everyone who works for the NHS and is just one way we keep our service users and each other safe over winter.
