We were delighted to throw open the doors of our own COVID-19 vaccination hub at Fulwood House on Wednesday 17 February to offer improved access to the vital jab for our staff members.

The first person through the doors at the Mayfield Suite was Donna Prescott, Business Manager for the Sheffield Adult Autism and Neurodevelopmental Service (SAANS).

Donna said: "I feel very lucky to have been able to receive my COVID-19 jab at the SHSC vaccination hub and to be the first feels really special too."

People from all corners of SHSC have been involved in setting up, launching and running our hub including vaccinators, admin staff and volunteers who are changing their working patterns and giving up their time to make sure this important hub is running effectively.

Needless to say there were many happy faces to be seen when the vaccination hub opened.

A huge thank you to everybody who has come through our doors to get their first jabs and to the many people who have worked tirelessly to get this off the ground.
