We have received notice from the British Medical Association (BMA) of planned national strike action by consultants on Tuesday 19 September and Wednesday 20 September and by junior doctors on Wednesday 20 September, Thursday 21 September and Friday 22 September, ending at 7am on Saturday 23 September.

Our doctors and all our staff are working together to keep giving care to our service users and make sure they are safe. 

Consultants and junior doctors from our organisation will be striking, but our services are still running. 

If you have an appointment with us, we are asking you to still attend unless we have contacted you to rearrange it.

Regardless of any strike action taking place, if you need urgent medical care please continue to come forward as normal, especially in an emergency or in life-threatening cases. If you need medical help or advice, go to NHS 111 online unless it is a life-threatening emergency when you should still call 999.
