SHSC Celebration event for Carers and Young Carers

This year, as part of Carers Week (5-11 June), we are hosting a celebration event in recognition of the often-hidden contributions Sheffield Carers and Young Carers make to their families and friends who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

We welcome this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our carers by inviting them to join in by sharing food, stories and making new memories with fellow Carers and Young Carers.

We hope as many of our carers associated with SHSC can join us at this celebratory lunch and award ceremony at the Lord Mayor’s Parlour and Reception Room A at Sheffield Town Hall on Friday 2 June, from 10.30 am to 12.00pm.

To reserve a spot at this event, sign-up here.
