In 2020/21 the Trust developed a Board approved Sustainability Strategy known as the ‘Green Plan’.
The Green Plan sets out the our commitments and approach to transitioning to a net zero carbon organisation.
Over the past 12 months we have supported a number of initiatives to cut our carbon emissions, including the trial of an e-bike sharing scheme (which was shortlisted for a national award), planting trees and flowers at our sites and replacing our fleet of diesel vans with zero emission electric vans.
