Perinatal Mental Health Service

 

The service is based at the Michael Carlisle Centre but is registered with the Care Quality Commission at Trust Headquarters, Fulwood House.

This is a specialist mental health service for women with mental health problems who are planning a pregnancy, are already pregnant, or have given birth in the last twelve months.

Operating hours

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

How is the service accessed?

Referrals are accepted from any source, but are predominantly received from Primary Care colleagues (GPs), secondary care mental health teams and maternity service staff, including obstetricians, midwives and health visitors.

Referrals are accepted via the referral form (e-mailed, faxed or posted).  For help or advice please ring 0114 2716069.
