Mark Thorpe wins Unsung Hero Award

9th February 2017

We are delighted to announce that Mark Thorpe, Community Recovery Worker and Occupational Therapy Volunteer, has won an Unsung Hero Award.

The Unsung Hero Awards are held by and celebrate non-medical/non-clinical NHS staff.

Mark works for the Community Recovery Service while also volunteering his time to work with service users on the in-patient wards.  This is his second award in the last six months, having won Mental Health Worker of the Year at the Best of Health Awards 2016.  Well done Mark!
