Arts and Wellbeing

We are excited to be holding our second annual Arts Festival.  Over the first two weeks in October we will be holding a series of events across our sites, many of which are open to all.  From art sessions, to music groups, clay workshops, poetry readings, photography – there really is something for everyone.  Click here for the full calendar of events.

There are also lots of creative events taking place across Sheffield in October.  Click here to find out more.

We will also be creating an Online Gallery to exhibit the amazing art work of our talented service users and staff.  See below for more details.

Online Art Gallery

Calling all service users and staff for photos of art work to be exhibited in an Online Gallery: poems, photographs, paintings, textiles, sculptures, sketches, prints….time for your creativity to be seen!

Last year we held our first ‘mini’ Arts Festival.  We want this year’s Arts Festival to be bigger, better and brighter!

This year’s theme is SHINE!  Get involved by drawing, painting, snapping, scribing, sculpting, sewing your art, poetry, photography etc.

Send your digital images to arts.festival@shsc.nhs.uk (maximum file size 10MB), preferred formats jpeg, png, word or PDF.

All art is copyright.

Please fill in the consent form for the work to be shown on the Trust website.  Either use the online consent form or download the consent form and return the completed form to arts.festival@shsc.nhs.uk

We’ll try and include everyone’s submissions. If there’s a big response we might need to limit the number of entries or images per person.

Take a look at the amazing work in last year’s online gallery.
