Therapy Services comprises of a range of Allied Health Professions (AHP) services including Art therapy, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Chaplaincy into a range of services within Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust and the wider community. Therapy Services is committed to delivering quality services and supporting the development of high standards of professional practice
We work as integrated members of the interdisciplinary team within the service where we are based. The Director of Therapy Services is responsible to the Executive Director of Operations.
Staff are integrated members of the clinical teams and organisations in which they work. Their professional management and development is provided by Therapy Services through professional clinical leadership.
The administrative centre of Therapy Services is located in the Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust Headquarters at Fulwood House.

There are currently over 230 staff within Therapy Services. We regularly have students on placement working within the services.
We support a comprehensive range of therapy professionals into many service areas ensuring appropriately skilled staff to maximise the provision of a quality service. We are proactive to new demands and development opportunities that arise from the changing health and social care agenda.
We support and pursue research and evaluation across the professions and service areas. Recently Therapy Services has been actively involved in four major research projects with partners in higher education.
